Steps
- Check access. You need an Account Health Rating above 150, no Temporary Account Restriction and no IP violations. Creators need a Creator Health Rating above 150.
- Check your category. Only permitted categories and formats, such as collectibles (Surprise Sets are Collectibles only).
- Use Countdown Bidding for every auction. Shops with no SPS yet can't use it.
- Use Temporary Listings for speed. They're LIVE-only and don't sync to your store or Shopify. They need SPS 3.5+.
- Surprise Sets are Collectibles only. Beauty, perfume and other categories can't use them. Every item must be a factory-sealed collectible from the same category or subcategory, similar in value, with a verifiable MSRP between $50 and $5,000 ($50 to $1,000 for coins and currency). Show each item's name, brand, condition, quantity and value on the product page. Up to 500 items per set. Maximum bid: $5,000 per set, or $1,000 for collectible coins and currency.
- Stay clear of gambling. No wheels, raffles, "first buyer wins" or off-platform randomizers.
- Tell buyers it's final sale. No change-of-mind returns. Buyers have 14 days from delivery to claim not received, damaged, not as described or missing items.

Common Mistakes
- Using a third-party randomizer to assign items, promising an average or minimum value, or naming a Surprise Set after its top item.
- Using "dupe", "inspired by" or "A-grade" in titles.
- Selling trademarked items without brand authorization or purchase invoices.
