Steps

  1. Know what FBT is. TikTok stores, picks, packs and ships your orders for a per-unit fee.
  2. Know how FBT is priced. Per unit, by weight and number of units. The rate card covers items up to 150 lb.
  3. Know the metric benefit. FBT orders are exempt from LDR, VTR and OTDR, and logistics issues don't count against SPS.
  4. Get the current rate card. Check the fee for your item weights in Seller Center before you decide.
  5. Compare to your own cost per order. Add packing labor, supplies and postage.
  6. Decide by product. Many sellers can use FBT for steady sellers and ship one-off LIVE items themselves.

Common Mistakes

  • Deciding on an old rate. Check the current rate card first.
  • Sending one-off auction items to FBT.
