Which show would you repeat—with your own money?

Biggest GMV isn't the same as the night you'd pay for again.

By SaleTrail

Friday looked like the win. Loud chat. Sold count climbing. Team tired in the way that feels like proof.

Tuesday was quieter. Same warehouse. Smaller GMV. Nobody high-fived.

If next week’s show came out of your pocket — not "the company," yours — which night would you pay for again?

That's the point of show contribution: after the costs that show caused, what did it leave behind? Not the sold count on screen. The number that tells you whether the loud night was actually the better night.

You don't need a perfect P&L to start. You need one honest pass on the costs that show caused — product, fees, giveaways, labor, shipping, refunds as one line — before you crown a format or book the rematch.

This week's assignment

  1. Pick last week's loudest show and one quieter show.
  2. Ask, for each: would I repeat this with my own money?
  3. If you can't answer without guessing, run the stack in the guide before you book next week.
Your Biggest Show Isn't Always Your Best Show

Book the night you'd pay for again. Not only the night that looked biggest.
