Draft Article — Not Sent

Don’t restock the hero until you check the aisle.

Sold-count fame isn't the same as a good inventory call.

By SaleTrail

The hero SKU always sells. Chat loves it. The streamer reaches for it without thinking.

Then you walk the aisle — slow cousins, gift leftovers, money still sitting from the last purchase order.

Best seller and best inventory are not the same thing. Restocking by sold-count fame is how cash gets stuck in bins.

This week's assignment

  1. Pick one "always sells" SKU family (hero + cousins).
  2. Rough answers only: how fast it turns, how much space it owns, how much money is still stuck.
  3. Write one call: buy / hold / cut / move it — and date it.
  4. Execute one hold or cut before the next restock PO.
Your Best Seller Might Be Your Worst Inventory Decision

Make the next buy intentional — not just louder on stream.
